As the premier truck driving institute in Southern California, America Truck Driving School offers several different programs to suit your needs. We help our students every step of the way, from their department of transportation physical and written tests until they pass the driving test at the DMV. When you take a class with us, we will do everything can to help you get your license!

Our main office, located in Santa Ana, is home to a classroom and office. Our satellite training site, located in Corona, includes additional classrooms and a training yard. This commercial property is 30,000 square feet and offers the best possible training environment. The office space contains roughly 1,500 square feet of classrooms, a resource center and restrooms. The yard facilities are roughly 28,500 square feet—perfect for behind-the-wheel instruction. Over-the-road instruction is given on the streets and freeways of Corona. Students receive behind-the-wheel and over-the-road instruction, and hands-on practice in commercial tractors and trailers – much like those used by the transportation industry.

We offer many different types of classes and/or combinations. Each class is designed to ensure that all students receive a quality education. They consist of three parts: pre-trip inspection, yard training and over-the-road training. The amount of hours required for each license is listed below.

• Class A/B Basic: 20 hours
• Class A/B Commercial: 24 hours
• Class A/B Refresher: 24 hours
• Class A/B Truck Driver: 40 hours
• Class A/B Truck and Bus Driver: 54 hours
• Class A Truck Driver: 160 hours
• Class B Truck Driver: 160 hours
• Class A Truck and Bus Driver: 190 hours
• Class B Truck and Bus Driver: 190 hours

Once a student has graduated from America Truck Driving School and has earned their license, we provide continued job search assistance. Contacts at local and long distance carriers are regularly updated, plus we have a staff member who is solely in charge of job placement for our students.

Our courses range in price from $1,695 to $6,295. These fees include all expenses: tuition, books and any tools that might be necessary.We are happy to answer any questions you might have and get you enrolled in a class that is perfect for you.
