Get to Know America Truck Driving School

Through our hands-on instruction at our multiple facilities throughout Southern California, we at America Truck Driving School deliver high-quality, career-oriented training programs in truck driving for a diverse student population. To demonstrate how we do this, we’re giving you an inside look at our company, so you can see what makes us stand out from the competition. Keep reading to learn more!

    Our History
Through years of firsthand experience, as well as consultations with numerous motor carriers, we witnessed important educational needs going unmet by the available truck driving programs in Southern California. Confident we could meet those needs, in 2005 we opened America Truck Driving School.

While relatively new to the education world, our staff is far from new to the world of commercial transportation. Our instructors possess extensive experience as both commercial drivers and professional instructors. Channeling that real-world experience into practical instruction for our students, we know that America Truck Driving School will reward your time and effort with a lifetime career, one that will provide for you and your family.

    Facilities and Equipment
With a robust array of facilities and equipment, America Truck Driving meets all of your educational needs. Our main office in Santa Ana, California features a classroom, while our satellite training site in Riverside, California includes additional classrooms along with our training yard.

Our Riverside location is a 1.5-acre commercial property that provides an ideal training environment. At approximately 1,500 square feet of office space, this site features a classroom, resource center, and restrooms. We use the approximately 1-acre yard facility for behind-the-wheel instruction and the streets and freeways of Corona for our over-the-road instruction. Our students receive behind-the-wheel and over-the-road instruction and practice in the same commercial tractors and trailers used by the transportation industry.

When it comes to truck driving, the type equipment you use and train on is very important.
Here’s just some of the training equipment we use with our students:

    • 2000 Freightliner 6-speed Day Cab (6 units)
    • 2008 International 6-speed Day Cab (2 units)
    • 1999 Freightliner 10-speed Sleeper
    • 2001 Freightliner 6-speed Flatbed
    • 48-foot box trailer

At America Truck Driving School, we have designed our curriculum to meet and exceed most accepted truck driver training criteria. Through our use of practical classroom lectures and hands-on experience in realistic environments, our school provides an opportunity for students to reach their highest levels of potential.
